This policy explains how MobileRise LTD processes information when you use Animated 3D Weather on iOS. The app does not require an account. Its free version shows ads; an optional Premium subscription removes ads and unlocks additional features.
Weather, search, and location
You can search for a city without granting location access. If you choose My Location and grant permission, the app requests approximate location and reduces coordinates to an approximate area before storing them or requesting weather and place names. The app sends approximate coordinates, selected city information, and weather requests to MobileRise weather services to deliver forecasts. It sends city search terms to the MobileRise place-search service. The app may use Apple's system geocoding with approximate coordinates to name your current area.
MobileRise weather services obtain forecast data from the provider you select: World Weather Online, Visual Crossing, OpenWeatherMap, or AccuWeather. MobileRise servers receive your IP address and basic technical request details. A weather provider may receive the location or search information needed to return its forecast.
Maps and radar
When you open a map or radar view, the app requests map and weather tiles from MapTiler. Map requests may reveal your IP address, requested map area, and technical request details to MapTiler and its delivery network. See MapTiler's Privacy Policy.
Advertising and measurement
Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob and, when configured, Meta Audience Network through AdMob mediation. Premium subscribers do not load ads. These services may process device and app information, IP address, identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. Their practices are described in Google's Privacy Policy and Meta's Privacy Policy.
Where required, the app presents advertising consent choices. You can reopen those choices in the app when available. The app requests iOS App Tracking Transparency permission for cross-app advertising or measurement that requires it. If you decline, you can still use the weather features, although ads may still appear.
Ad campaign measurement is off by default. If you have opted in and iOS tracking permission allows it, Meta/Facebook may receive paywall and checkout events, verified paid purchases, product and event identifiers, price and currency, a hashed random relationship identifier, Meta anonymous identifier, and app/device metadata. The native Meta SDK is the sole subscription conversion sender. Adapty does not forward subscription events to Meta or Firebase in this configuration.
Optional usage analytics
Usage analytics starts disabled and follows the Analytics choice in Google's privacy message where consent is required. It is enabled when you grant Analytics consent or the privacy service confirms that this purpose does not apply to you. Missing or unconfigured choices keep it disabled. You can review and change your choice through Advertising consent settings in About when available. When enabled, Google Firebase Analytics receives app screen labels, usage and return events, paywall and checkout events, and verified production subscription events with amount and currency. Our explicit events do not include city names, coordinates, search terms, receipts, or the subscription measurement identifier. Firebase advertising consent remains denied. Usage analytics consent is independent of advertising and tracking permission. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions and purchases
Apple processes App Store payments. MobileRise does not receive your payment card details. Apple-verified subscription status determines Premium access. Adapty acts as an observer: it receives verified transaction and product identifiers, Apple subscription lifecycle reports, an anonymous profile, and technical app/device information for subscription reporting. It does not decide Premium access or send subscription events to Meta or Firebase. Adapty SDK collection of advertising identifiers, Google advertising ID, and IP address is disabled. Information stored on your device
The app stores saved cities and coordinates, provider selections, display settings, cached weather, and the last verified Premium entitlement on your device. If Meta purchase measurement is enabled, it also stores a bounded list of transaction event identifiers already reported to help avoid duplicate events. You can delete individual saved cities in the app. Uninstalling the app removes its locally stored settings, cache, and event list. Adapty also stores its anonymous profile and subscription cache on the device. These local records are not payment credentials.
Retention, sharing, and security
MobileRise may cache weather and place-search responses and keep operational request records to provide the service, troubleshoot problems, and protect it from abuse. Subscription verification records are kept to maintain access, handle refunds or disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. The subscription record system does not currently have a fixed automatic expiry period. You may request deletion as described below; we assess each request against active subscriptions and applicable legal obligations. Adapty applies its own retention policy to its observer reporting records. Third-party services apply their own retention policies.
We share information with the weather, mapping, advertising, measurement, hosting, and payment services described above for their stated functions. Their processing may occur outside your country of residence. We review providers' published privacy practices and require them to protect shared information in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
Your choices and deletion requests
- Use city search instead of My Location, or revoke location permission in iOS Settings.
- Change iOS tracking permission in Settings and review advertising consent choices in the app when available.
- Delete saved cities in the app, or uninstall the app to remove local settings and cache.
- Manage or cancel Premium in your Apple account.
- Request access to or deletion of information held by MobileRise by emailing support@mobilerise.com. Because the app has no account, please provide enough detail to help us locate the relevant record. Some records may need to be kept for an active purchase, security, or legal obligation.
Children and policy changes
Animated 3D Weather is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age in your country. We may update this policy and will revise the date shown above when we do.
