Thermometer Galaxy S4
A pocket instrument built around the Samsung Galaxy S4’s own environmental sensors.
The product story
A chapter
worth keeping.
Thermometer Galaxy S4 explored what a phone could measure directly. Designed around the Galaxy S4’s built-in environmental sensors, it displayed temperature, humidity, and pressure without relying on an internet weather report.
The original app included widgets and Celsius/Fahrenheit options. Its measurements were intended for reference, not professional use. This was a device-specific utility: the historical sensor features should not be taken as support for modern phones.
- Device-specific temperature, humidity, and pressure readings
- Celsius and Fahrenheit display options
- Widgets and offline sensor readings in the original app
